Hi, I’m AlphaFoobar

Hi, I’m AlphaFoobar, the creator of 99 Bloggers.

I started blogging only a couple of years ago, but I really didn’t understand why or what the purpose of it was. My first blog was alphafoobar, I had some grand aspirations for this blog, but I didn’t really understand why I wanted to run a blog, so these aspirations never materialized. I created a new blog in 2006 to document my rowing training, this blog had an easy to understand motive - it was my training diary. This allowed me to take what had earlier been very private and yet impersonal information and place it in a medium that was highly visible. It has also helped me understand more of what blogging is about and what the strengths of blogging can be.

My first blog was revitalized once google incorporated the old blogger platform with the beta platform. And I have attempted to do with technology what I’d previously done with exercise, record my progress, interests and achievements with the world… some people are not interested, some because they don’t understand and some because they already understand. This is perfect, as this is our audience as well, people who haven’t gained the experience you have and would like it. And people who have exceeded the experience you have and are interested in your development.

Some people are just after entertainment.  I will blog about technology, money, sport and lifestyle… and I hope you find some of it interesting.
