Lesser Number of Visits is good for my Site!

 An Article from Web-Log @ http://www.learn-internet-marketing-free.com .

Would you rather have less traffic to your site? Of course not! That will be the exact answers given by the majority of internet marketers after being asked this question. But if you were to ask them in a different manner - would you want to have more visits to your site and they stay less than 30 secs on their visits or would you rather have less traffic to your site with better pages/visit ratio and more time spent on your site? Now, we are looking at a different perspective. Most of us would trade the traffic for the latter.

I’ve stopped using paid traffic, including Google Adwords, for 2 months now. And I can say that the pages/visit and time spent are much much higher than paid traffic brings me. Yes - they brought me lots of visits but most of the time, they stayed for less than 10 secs. I don’t think my content on my site is so poor that they left so fast. Therefore, I can conclude that most of the paid traffic may not be quality. They are just not interested even with Google adwords. Without them, I’ve been clocking an average of 5 mins per visit and at least 3 pages/visit ratio. I think that’s quite a good stats.

And please don’t be mistaken that paid traffic is not the way to go. If you are able to get traffic through paid visit that stayed for a long time on your site and of course scroll through pages after pages of your site, then this will be an optimal scenario. Therefore, for my case, less number of visits is actually good for my site.

Do you agree?

at times yes. PPC is tricky because its hard to get it right so that the only people who click are interested in your product. I use PPC at times, but not google. The alternatives are much cheaper
